Big B blockbuster ‘Trishul’ to be remade

Amitabh Bachchan acted films are always a bank of inspiration to many. ‘Don’, then ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’, now we hear that the iconic Big B mega hit ‘Trishul’ which consolidated Big B as the undisputed ruler at the B.O. has found the inspiration for none other than Raj Babbar who wants to make a film on the lines of this mega blockbuster of 1978 ‘Trishul’ helmed by Yash Chopra.

Both his sons Arya and Prateik will star in the movie alongside Raj Babbar. And there’s one more interesting fact to this tale - Raj Babaar also belongs to Bachchan’s home town Allahabad.

So there’s another reason why the megastar’s film becomes an inspiration to the abhineta turned neta.
